If you don’t hear from me for a while
it’s because I’m sailing the great ocean
If I seem a little muddled and absentminded at times
it’s because I’m lulled by the big waves
If I do not always catch what’s going on
it’s because the wind is playing with my hearings
blowing away the serious stuff
leaving the seemingly not matter so much
to play around with
If I seem a little lost at times
it’s because I don’t know exactly where I am
just that I am somewhere way out
on those wide blue plains
If I wander about in the moonlight every now and then
it’s because I’ve finally set free
the albatross in me
